BRS – distinctive shipbroking since 1856
Dry Cargo Post-fixture / Operations
The BRS Group is a diversified and dynamic global shipping services group working in a range of maritime activities.
Our core business is shipbroking, where the company has been active for over 150 years. Today we have more than 200 shipbrokers operating in all of the major shipping markets. Our services are broken down into three principal areas: shipbuilding, secondhand sales, and the charter of ships to serve the transport of wet and dry bulk commodities. Over a period of many years, the BRS Group has built a reputation as a blue-chip broking organisation, with a special focus on industrial shipping.
Since the founding of the firm in 1856, the Group has developed and expanded to offer a wider range of services, including freight derivatives, consulting services, and shipping software and intelligence. We believe the development of these services brings multiple benefits, enabling us to offer clients additional services but also to understand better the wider market and provide a vital overview to clients.
Across these disciplines, the Group brings the same philosophy to serving clients: a long term strategic outlook, high levels of service, and reliable, informed market intelligence.
